According to European regulations (EN 15221) the term “facility management” refers to the organizational activity that coordinates all the needs of business operations that do not directly concern the core business of a company. This definition includes all those services aimed at the proper functioning of productivity and the maintenance of a positive workflow: management of buildings and all related systems (electrical, plumbing, lighting, air conditioning, firefighting systems), but also cleaning, porterage, doorman, gardening, pest control, logistics, security, reception, porterage services… An essential job for the proper functioning of daily activities, which can be carried out internally by individual companies, dedicating resources and personnel to the management of services, or entrusted to reliable and qualified partners, such as WGS.
